Funnelback is an enterprise search engine company providing Internet and enterprise search solutions to Universities, Commonwealth and State Government Departments and Blue Chip organisations such as Westpac, ninemsn and the ASX. Our technology was developed by internationally recognised scientists in CSIRO.
Based in Canberra and reporting to the Executive Director, your primary responsibilities will include identifying, qualifying and closing new sales opportunities.
The ideal candidate is a self starter with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills and has at least 2 years sales experience in an IT, web or software role. Some domestic travel may be required.
Responsibilities of position:
- identifying and analysing new business opportunities and markets
- promoting the Company's products and services to potential clients
- managing the relationships with key clients thus ensuring key client accounts are retained
- increase sales and revenues from existing client base and secure new client business
- responding to tenders, quotes, building brand equity, marketing and presenting to external stakeholders.
- working with other employees regarding product and service deliverables to be provided to clients
- such other responsibilities as the Company may direct from time to time that are consistent with the position occupied by the Employee
